2010 Woodward King of the Park Contest Series

We’ve been sponsoring this new king of the park series from the get go and wanted to get these dates out to everyone:

November 22
December 19
January 9
February 13
March 20

In Lakewood at the Woodward Indoor Skatepark.

So far out of two contests we have nearly dominated them. 2nd and 3rd place in open pro/am street went to our own 12 year old tech wizard Wyatt Millhollan and veteran local bowl ripper Cameron Lawrence with an upset for 1st from some random out of towner via a couple gnarly sketch backside disasters on the vert wall. The vert contest was, of course, dominated (completely smashed) via our very own local vert prodigy Al Brunelle.

Snow skating has come a long way, we will be selling ambition in the store as soon as the products hit the market for this year (should be soon)… in the meantime check the video trailer!!!

Lot’s of brands added to the retail shop…

Since we opened we have added to the deck wall Mystery, Krooked, Zero, Black Label and American Nomad Old School decks. As for shoes we are know selling VOX and Lakai in addition to the Globe and iPath we already had. We’ve also added a greater selection of Royal and Silver trucks, we have kept our Venture, Indy and Thunder selection up to date. For back to school we brought in Denim and Pants from Zoo York and Matix and backpacks from Fourstar, Girl, Alien, Spitfire and Chocolate. Diabolical released a new shirt and redid our old shirt in new colors. LOTS going on down at the shop, come down and check it out if you haven’t yet.

Sk8ology proudly used for Boardshop Deck Wall

Sk8ology.com is a funny name for  a bad ass “clean wall” floating deck display system.

I simply cannot praise this stuff enough, assemble the small bracket with the included long bolts and thin nuts, put one pilot hole in the wall and screw it into place, hang board and you are done. The look  is incredible and we are proud to support Sk8ology by selling them in the store as well, so if you want a clean look at home for a couple choice decks come on down the new boardshop and we can get  you setup. Longmont Skatepark Contest (and more) Team Results

Hell yeah, the denver portions of the Diabolical Skateboard and Boardshop Teams are kicking ass and taking names at the contests so far this summer … Cameron Lawrence took first place in Street/Park and Al Brunelle took 1st place in Bowl. And last weekend Al Brunelle won both the go skate day event at Denver park and the contest in Salida, Colorado the day before. In Denver, the D stands for Diabolical.
